So, I'm still in the "turn around to look at my car while walking into work" phase...
are you?
Not sure about everyone else, but I've completely overhauled my impression of the '09 TL looks. When I see my car in the lot, it's simply striking and makes all the other cars (including BMW, etc.) look plain and dated.
The beak that bothered (and continues to bother in some cases) so many people is no longer an issue for me... I think it's part of the overall aggressive, futuristic, edgy look.
How many of you are still sneaking looks at your car over your shoulder as you're walking away?!?!
Cheers, Tim

I do the same thing every morning after I parked at work. I actually look forward to driving it to work every morning, and of course the drive home. I like the beak look, it never bothered me.

I still do the same thing, when i parked at my college or at work, I always looked back...
last night was fun though, left my car running with my girlfriend in it, got out to pick up food, walked back to the car and couldn't help stare at the front in the night time with headlights glaring at me

As I'm walking away glancing back I often hear the stereo playing,
"I always feel like somebody's watching me. Are the neighbours watching me? Who's watching. Well is the mailman watching me? Tell me who's watching. And I don't feel safe anymore, oh what a mess. I wonder who's watching me now. Who? The IRS?!

I'm away from my car in Iraq so what I do here is look at pictures of it. To answer your question, YES I definitely do it if I was at home. Not just at work though, at the mall, grocery store, gas station, etc.

I've had my beautiful 09 TL since the beginning of March and still stare at it!
It looks better than anything else in the parking lot.
I love people gawking at it.
Saw another fly by me on the highway...damn that's a sweet looking ride!

Phew! At least I don't feel like the only Acura geek that does this too!
When it was first release, I hated... HATED the new design of the TL. But now I find it's grown on me and I like it more than any other car in its class. And I've received so many compliments from random people that like now the design is different than the rest of the cars they see on the road. And they don't say "different" with that tone that really means "Wow, that's f-ing UGLY!" they really mean different.
