Should I get a TL or ILX?
fred, its not about us, its about you.
every one of us has different needs, wants and different budgets.
Why are you considering the two? they are on opposite ends of the spectrum.....
one is a full sized car with a full sized price tag, while the other is a small car with a moderate sized price tag.
One will be more refined and the other less.
one will have a pretty powerful v6 while the other has a less then adequate 4 cylinder....
again, what are your goals(wants, needs and budget) for the car?
Do you even need the full sized car? how about fuel economy?
I would think for some one considering a 4G TL, you have enough experience to know that a car purchase is a personal decision, as you're going to be living with the car and not us....
weird thread is weird.

As mentioned it is about you, the ILX is a Civic and the TL is a NA Accord based car, and the TSX which is too me nicer that a ILX is a nice mid car and based on the Global Accord platform. Personally the ILX is too small and under powered. The TSX has a great balance of zippy performance and sporty ride, while still be very comfortable. The TL is that much better. If you are about having a current gen car then the TSX and TL go away next year and the ILX will still be around. If you are about safety then the TL is the way to go as the TSX does not do well in small overlap crash test (most common type of real crash).

Thanks you, guys are right, I should be looking at either the TSX or the TL.
Currently I have a Hyundai thats 167 hp, and I like to have the extra power there when I need it.
The TL is at the top of my budget, but within my budget.
Is it worth waiting for the new gen TL/TSX?

coming from a Hyundai, you probably would be more comfortable in a smaller car than the TL.
unless, you just want to upgrade into a bigger car payment and a bigger car.
again, its all up to you.

@OP: The 2.4 Manual is the only ILX version worth looking at. The other engine is too under powered. But the ILX is less refined the the TSX 2.4 Manual. If you just want a nice and comfortable ride, get an automatic TL. There are very good incentives for the TL at the moment.
I test drove both and went with the TL, I felt like it had a lot nicer ride, and liked the performance as well.
The dealer had super aggressive pricing on the TL so it was only a little bit more than the TSX which wasn't discounted too much, (I assume since there aren't too many '14s out yet.)
Thanks again for the assistance here, and I'll be back with some feedback/questions.

I think you went with the right choice. Comparing the TL and ILX, there is no comparison. This coming from an ILX owner that loves his car.
TL is top of the line. Period.
ILX is a great ENTRY level car. No where near top of the line. But still a great car.

Im averaging 26.xx with both highway and city.
I use regular. I was using premium then went to regular when I had a tough month and actually saw an increase from 24.xx to where I am now. I found this very weird but I have been using regular since.
