Just traded my 2009 TL AWD Tech for 2012 TL AWD Tech. Hated to part with the umber interior but new TL with Taupe interior very sharp as well.
To my surprise, when I synced my iPhone with the car, it automatically loaded my contact list (over 1000 names), with no errors. On the 2009, I could never load the entire list.
The new Song by Voice feature is nice, plus artists are now grouped in sections of the alphabet like the contact list.
I am sure there are other little things I will find, but so far really enjoying the car.
Also, the 6 speed AT is very smooth.

The Tech is packed with gadgets. I took me quite a while to become familiar with all the new gadgets inside my car.

Yes - although I am one of the few who actually liked the aggressive style of the 09 grille. It definitely got more attention.
But, the style of the 12 is very cool as well.

The 2013 TL will look exactly the same as the 2012 TL.

 

^^ Correct. No substantial change until the '14 model, out probably in summer/fall of 2013.
