Running a Wire from Batter to the Trunk

I was wondering if someone can let me know if this is the location that i would have to drill the hole to run a 1 gauge wire through.

is this where it comes out? this is looking at from the Top right aspect of the engine bay, by the brake fluid fill point, looking down towards the wheel well.

Before drilling, I would take that plastic trim above the pedals and look for a pre-existing hole. In my Accord, there were 3 holes in the firewall around that area. Two of them had wires running through them but the third one was just plugged with a rubber cap.

Why don't you run it from the fuse box, instead of the battery... much easier.

Go through the driver's fender well and run it through the same opening in the firewall as the hood latch cable:

^^^That's what I did as well, but I don't know if 1 gauge wire will fit and still allow the hood latch cable to move freely.

You can use the bracket that holds your spare tire...just sand it a little beforehand.
