RonJon 4th Gen Acura TL Body Kit Thread! **pg. 16 updated pics*

I was actually this close. Had my body shop picked out and everything, but since I have a 2012, I figured I better call and ask about whether the 4g would work on my car. Good thing I called last night before ordering. Ron ended up being ridiculously nice and super helpful, but long story short I'd need to revert back to 2011 bumpers to get this to fit properly on my 2012.
I ended up doing some digging and research today... The jury is still out. Might go stock, but dangit I want this kit.

Exactly my issue. I feel like going to 2011 bumpers would be taking a step backward, despite the beautiful kit! I wonder if anyone else has considered doing this...

Does anyone even have the kit? Ive been on this forum for a week or two and have not seen anyone rocking the kit. I think its too expensive, $470 just for only a front lip? Thats like a bit over half of an oem kit painted. It looks good, but the price...

In other words, the front grille on the 2012 has to be swapped out as well in order to retrofit the '09-'11 bumper.

Sorry - I should have mentioned in my initial post that my thought was to use the RJ grill in lieu of stock in addition to the kit.

They've posted on their Facebook account within the last 30 days. They've also started branching out beyond Honda/Acura with more universal fitment wheels. Kind of hard to charge those kinds of prices when you can't use the "only aftermarket OEM fitment custom fit blah blah blah" argument though. There are far better products out there for less money typically. The only reason anybody was buying before was because they were "custom fit" for Honda/Acura.

You think? Although it's convenient to have them bolt on perfectly to your Honda/Acura I believe the fact that the fitments and styles were so mild it may have hurt him more than it helped. IMO the only people it really appealed to (wheel wise) were people looking for a cheaper replacement to OEM wheels than getting a extra set or replacement set of OEM wheels. Or people who don't know much about fitment.
