replacing timing belt, bolt question

I'll be doing my timing belt and just looked over the manual and I was wondering if "replace" means "get a new bolt" or "make sure you bolt it back in place". It may be a stupid question, but I figured it's worth double checking . Also, why would they recommend to get this specific bolt new?

Some bolts lose their effectiveness once you apply torque on them to unbolt them. Re-torquing them may snap them. Its also a prevention item. It lasted 100k miles without seizing, but Honda not sure if it lasts another 100k. I believe it will and I know it will last a life time... but the Honda people like to think of a 200k mile car as a brand new car !! BTW, its not a stupid question. I was thinking about the same thing a few years ago when I started messing with my first J engine.

At only 19 ft-lb it's not a torque-to-yield bolt so I would think it can be reused; I have 4 times. But if you have any doubt, just replace it. It's only $5.21 on Acura Parts @ AcuraAutomotiveParts.org - Genuine Acura OEM Parts from Acura Carland. I think I remember someone complaining in a AZ thread that theirs failed after the dealer changed their timing belt.

Do it right. Choke up the six bucks and replace the bolt like the manual says.

always use new bolts where they are under high stress such as tensioners, crank pulley bolt, etc.
