Thanks for the link. I posted the same question on that thread. Might have to just go with the weathertech, until oem decides to make them.

I think weathertech makes the OEM ones. They have never made any for the 4G. If you do my the weathertech, make sure you follow the instructions well. Mine have been on since 09 and I have not had any hint of a problem. I had OEM on my 06 TSX and I like the fit on these much better. Its not everyone's look, but it is sure nice to crack the window and not have water all over your arm. I would'nt be without them now.

Flew off?? Your friends did not know what they were doing. I've never had ANY issue. I know some people by a product and throw the instructions away cuz, they think they know better. You have to be diligent with the instructions with these. Mine have been perfect since 09.

That sounds hard to do considering the Weathertechs fit inside the window channels. Did your friend stick them to the window frames instead??

...Your friends probably tried to tape them on ....

To op: Ive had them on for almost a year and ive gone through multiple car washes along with using pressure washers and theyre still there. I drive on the freeway alot as well and mine are holding up fine.

These visors have the "weathertech" brand label imprinted on them, correct? Could anyone get a few close up shots of the branding? Are they located on the both the front and both rear visors (total of 4 brand labels)? Is it a sticker? Can it otherwise be removed? Or are they embedded into the material?

Thanks.

Its not the installation process, im more referring to the rear visors.. a friend of mine had it on his GS, and the rear ones did not stick as good as it should. Reason why its that it gets soo hot here in socal that the glue starts to melt. When he rolled down his rear windows and hit the freeway, it just dropped down from the window channel and few right off. After he checked, the other rear window was coming loose. There are times here in socal where its about 92 degrees. so it gets damn hot.

you are correct on that.. but it has to stick on the inside. when it gets hot, glue melts and it no longer sticks.

maybe its all location, this happened on a GS, IS, and a 8thgen accord... The glue melted and no longer sticks to the window channel.

If it works for other members here, then go for it.. i personally wouldnt do it as i see first hand that it does not work where i live..

Must be a new application method. When I installed mine they were pressure fit only. Installed on my 1999 Honda CRV when new. They are still on and in place.

They are still pressure fitted according to their installation instructions.

Perhaps the older applications used glue...? But I believe the new ones (at least for the 4G TL) are pressure fitted still.

the ones i bought from weathertech recently only used 2 small stickers for their branding and they're only on the front deflectors. sorry no picture available since i already removed the stickers.

I don't even notice the weather tech sticker. They can be removed. I just left mine on.
