This car is amazing.

I took delivery last Wednesday of a black 6 speed, and have some comments.

1. The manual transmission is great, Honda/Acura hit a home run. I noticed the transmission is made in Japan. From previous experience with Honda transmissions, this one is as good as any (almost as good as my '02 S2000, but that's to be expected since the torque is greater).

2. The power is strong. Just breaking in, but this is great. Nice to have so much torque. I test drove an automatic, and while good, the 6 MT is significantly stronger.

3. Styling: very subjective. Batmobile image comes to mind. In a sense, I think that buyer's benefit from better deals with the polarizing looks.

4. Ride/handling: excellent, I'm used to a stiffer suspension, and this delivers. The sh-awd is great engineering. You can feel the weight to some degree, but the suspension is as good as it gets for this size car.

5. Interior/features: awesome!

And to think I was somewhat ambivalent about this car when it debuted!

Welcome to the 6MT club! It's a great ride. I keep hearing such amazing things about the AP1 S2K... need to find a low mileage one for a test drive.
