New RJ grille

I am looking to replace my stock beak grille with an RJ custom grille. Is it possible for me to install it myself or do I need to take it to the dealership? Also, does anyone know the paint code for the 2009 TL Tech midnight blue? Thanks in advance.

It's possible to do it yourself, but if I'm correct you have to remove the front bumper as well. If you're handy I've heard it's pretty easy and you can find the instructions on how to do it for the OEM underbody spoiler kit where you have to remove the front bumper as well. If you search around the forum those instructions are somewhere but I don't know off the top of my head. I had my grill painted to match and just let them put it in for me so unfortunately I can't speak from experience but I know others have done it.

I had heard that the front bumper had to be taken off to install the grille, but was hoping that it wasn't true. Oh well, I will find those instructions, it shouldn't be too difficult. Thanks HawkI.

Grill is held on with 4 bolts on top and 6 plastic clips at bottom. It IS possible to replace without removing bumper. It will not be easy as access to 6 clips is very tight.

Yes, I have heard that the bumper should come off to access the 6 clips. Imagine how hard it is to remove them without a clip puller, now imagine doing it in a tight area. Professional installation is suggested, but you could probably do it yourself. Might not be worth it to dedicate so much time rather than have a shop who knows what they are doing do it for you.
