That's what those usually are.. the raised spots below the headlights should be sprayers.. you know you have to push every button.. some several times!!!!! it's a new toy!!!

 

what is the diamond coat package....and yes, thoes are headlight washers...

 

Is what Acura calls there clear coat protectant. Not sure if its a canadian thing

 

i had driven a wdp with umber in st louis the week before i bought my car in dallas....if they would have had a wdp with umber in dallas that is what i would have gotten...but since they didnt and i didnt feel like waiting, i got the pm with ebony...

I totally agree. I bought this knowing that the 2012's were on the way. I took a look and said no thanks. I guess we're one of the few that love the aggressive styling of the 09 - 11 TL's. I find now it looks more like a old man sedan lol.

how do you like those 19s? I've been pondering this mod and would appreciate your feedback, especially with our winter roads up here.

 

I love them other than the offset. Car rides really nice on them and as for noise they are quieter than the stock 17's I have for winter. Definitely worth it imo if you can find a good deal. Just don't get Falkan 452's . Not much of a review but hope it helps.

What offset are they and why don't you like it?

 

First, congratulations on a car that was ahead of its time. Did you ever notice how a movie might get poor reviews, you go to see it anyway, and come away saying, what were they so upset about? I am in your court on the style of the 2012.. BUT GET THIS!!! I notice a lot of reviews talk about the ability to double shift the 2012 6 speed auto! So a quick double click of the paddle will shift it from 6th to 4th, or from say 5th to 3rd! So yesterday I was out on a windy road in eastern San Diego County and tried it on my 2010 SH-AWD. I was in 5th gear doing about 50 MPH. I was approaching a curve that read 35 MPH, so I double clicked the downshift paddle and , WOW, it shifted from 5th right into 3rd, took the curve perfectly then hit the accelerator about 70% into the turn and climbed right back up to full speed. Now I may have missed this, but before this I would click once, 5th to 4th, then click again 4th to 3rd... So it does work folks, and now makes my driving enjoyment 100% better!!! BTW, as for the 2012 being an olds man style, it must be for VERY OLD folks, as I am 63 and love the 2010, but was turned off by the 2012 style.. I grew up in the 60's, GTO, 4 plus 4, 427, 327, and I love the Dual Quads exhaust of the 2010, 2011... When they took those off in 2012, as they say they Toned It Down way to much.. The 2012 is like a baby RL these days... Enjoy your new car, and don't forget that double down shift left paddle!!

 

Dual quad exhaust? Are you saying the '10 has 4 seperate pipes from the heads to the tips? I figured that the was a single (y pipe) to a point near rhe rear tires then split into 2 pipes, then tips that looked like duals

 

The 2009-2012 SH-AWD, has a true dual Exhaust system, two individual pipes from the heads to the rear. Acura said it is a Tuned system for more HP. Then each pipe has a dual cap on the end for that high performance look.

 

Yeah, well, it's just an exhaust tip.. only for looks.. I wouldn't see them if I raced one with the 12

I could not buy a pre- '12 knowing the goodies the '12 has.

 

Don't know the offset off the top of me brain but they sit too far inside the wheel well. Wish they were flush with the fender. Only way to fix it is with spacers which I find a little sketchy or get some aftermarkets with the proper offset.
