Hello All,

As noted in the subject line, I am new to the forum. I just purchased a new 2010 TL SH-AWD to replace my 2007 TL. So far Im loving the new TL. It corrects my biggest gripe with the old TL, FWD. I also was able to work a new RDX into the deal for my wife. Both cars are just the base AWD cars (no tech package).

Prior to my first TL, I was a long time BMW guy. I used to hang out around the BimmerFest forums back in the day. Now, Im looking to join a forum with my Acura brethren. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and introduce myself a bit.

Welcome to 4G - Post some pix when you get a chance. Same as you, I came from a 2007 TL and with AWD in this gen, no more torque steer

 

Thanks... I actually got the same color combo as you (CBP and Ebony). The wife's RDX is Polished Metal and Ebony, which is the same color combo as my old TL. Ill post some pics as soon as the moderators will let me.

Yea, the torque steer was literally my ONLY gripe about the 07 TL. Now, its no longer an issue and Ive got some extra horses to boot.

 

Welcome aboard. Great car and the 4G is a mellow place to hang your hat.

 

+1 I had the type-s. The torque steer was horrible. I don't regret upgrading to the 2010. I'm glad I bought this one instead of leasing. It's the perfect car to keep for a very, very long time.
