New E15 Blend

So the EPA has approved a new 15% ethanol blend. They claim cars manufactured after 2001 can use this, however apparently the only people happy about it are the members of the Ethanol Lobby.

Is there any evidence that this would be compatible or usable in my 4G TL?

Or is it to be avoided at all costs?

Well that fucking sucks. Being a NY'er I'm sure our stations will be carrying that garbage shortly and further decreasing mpg compared to those in our states with less ethanol. And the worst part about it is I'm sure it'll be equally expensive compared to gas with a 10% maximum rating.

From what I understand, it has to be sold via separate pump (it won't be in all fuel blends, and E10 will still be available), so just be careful when buying and I'd avoid it like the plague. I'm pretty certain the stations don't want to incur more cost by having to store it in an additional tank and have the pumps upgraded as a fuel very few will even want, so I wouldn't expect it to have widespread availability. The fact that EPA approved its use doesn't mean it's mandatory to use it. See this article:

It doesn't seem too many cars are eligible to use it and it would seem car manufacturers would recommend against its use.

Corn is food, not fuel, especially when it's energy intensive to produce as a fuel.

it's hard enough that there's no 100% gas available in the Philly area...the only thing here available that's ethanol-free is 98 Octane racing fuel

The price of fuel will stay the same. Its your damn corn flakes and bread that gets the cost increase. Along with, well, everything else because we all know that everything is made out of corn.

Here's a list of stations in PA that have pure gas. You may have to drive a little bit but it is available. Bridgeport or Horsham appear closest to you.

...but we all know how important it is to have alternatives for energy right?! (SARCASM)

I just wished we could stop this non sense and just tap into all the oil that is available out there! Since when is depleting/over exploiting all the farm land is more environmentally friendlier than drilling for oil? Especially when the food we need (to feed are growing population) is now competing for land with energy producers! I'll never understand such level of stupidity....except for one thing....GREED!
