need an opinions

First of i just wanted to say hi as i am new here and need a opinion

I currently have a deal setup and i am going to go go pick up a 2010 TL FWD Tech w/ 18's as what i think is a decent price and it was like pulling teeth to get it.

Anyways i got a call today and they offered to change out the 18" with the 19" HPT package of a SH for not much money at all

I told them yes.

Should i have said no?

What is "not much money at all"?

and why did you want larger tires?

200 for the upgrade. Did not really need the bigger tires just like the way they looked

wow that's not bad at all, but be prepared for a slightly noisier and slightly harsher ride.

That is what i started to think about after i said yes. From what i can tell there seems to be minimal difference on the SH between the 18/19 but i did not now how that would affect the FWD since it does not have the stiffer suspension.

Another question is where are you located? I do know that anything under 50 degrees and the tires lose a lot of there grip. I sales man at my dealership who has them on his TL talked me out of getting them.

$200 for the upgrade is pretty good and yes they will look better, however, don't forget to factory in the quick rate at which they will wear down not to mention the sticker shock you may face when replacing four 19" tires at once.

yes i did look at the price on those bad boys and it is 50$ more a tire then the 18's for the factory tire ofcourse.

now supposedly the dealer i am getting the car from says that if i get all of my maitanence done there they will replace the tires for a one time fee of 200$ for 7 years or 70000 miles? i think is what they said. Going to have to loook into that

Get that $200 replacement agreement in clear and concise writing!!!! So there is no room for them to wiggle when you come looking for your new tires in a few months.
