Need help with bolts and nuts

Okay so I just bought a XLR8 jpipe for 2010 FWD TL and I'm going to install but I have a feeling that the bolts and nuts will be rusted, I was wondering if anyone knew the exact sizes I would to buy to get a perfect match and an easy install, please let me know and also if there's anything else. Thank you

I'll help you out since I just install my RV6 J-Pipe on my 13' SH last week, so it's fresh in my head.

If memory serves me right, you'll need:

14mm socket
12mm socket (for 1 bolt I believe)
10mm socket (for 1 bolt)
Assortment of extensions especially for that one 10mm bolt
Breaker bar

Pretty much all the nuts and bolts are 14mm (sub-frame brace bolts, exhaust manifold nuts, nuts after the 3rd cat, and the exhaust hanger bolts (since the RV6 doesn't have/require the hanger on theres.

The side bolt connecting the stock J-pipe to the exhaust manifolds was very tricky for me. This is for the back one, which is right above the flex pipe. This is wear a good assortment of extensions come in handy. Or you could use a open end wrench now that I think about it.

BTW, the nuts holding onto the exhaust manifold on my car was a pain to break loose. I think they applied thread locker or something.

I think he is asking what size/type of nut/bolt combo he'll be needing to replace.

Lol, my bad. Read it wrong then.

To the OP, XLR8 didn't include new bolts and nuts with the J-pipe you purchased?

It must be a testament to their superior build and material quality, price cutting has to happened somewhere :gheylaugh:. My RV6 long jpipe included hardware, the HFPC did too.
