I am looking for a 2010 6-speed with HPT and need some help deciding whether to purchase a cheaper US car or a Canadian Acura (A-spec)

I am a Canadian so the only way I can purchase a TL from the states is if it is used (and I lose all warranty).

I can likely purchase a US TL (HPT package) for $33,000 and have it back in Canada with shipping and body kit for for ~38,500.

On the other hand I can purchase a Canadian A-Spec for 44,000 which will include the body kit, Warranty, headlight washers and conveniances like km/h speedo etc.

Is it worth it to save the money and forgo the warranty? I am a little leary because most of the TL's for sale now are low mileage demo vehicles that may have gone through some abuse!

there is so much complex equipment in this car you would be taking a big risk not having a warranty.

i would go for a new off the truck A-spec

If I were you, I would just get the A-spec in Canada. The thing is, the vehicle that you have located is at a lower price in the US, BUT it's also a USED car. So, when you factor that in, the difference is not really that great.
