My new 2010 TL SH-AWD Tech - PM/Ebony
Pulled the trigger on a 2010 TL PM (versus WDP) - went back and forth on this color decision.
I am "transitioning" from a 2007 Type-S, wanted to try out the PM versus the WDP. Took the kids to the dealership to check out the new ride and got their approvals as well
Here's a couple of shots of my PM and a WDP at the dealership. Now the wait for pickup.

Nice & congrats! Hopefully the wait isn't too long. Nice thing about Colorado is you drive it off the lot the day you buy it.
Is it just me or is the WDP missing the rear trunk lip piece? I was under the impression all of the SH-AWD models came with that. Or is that part of the tech pkg?

I know what you're saying. I picked up mine on a Saturday. My wife and I both had to drive past the dealership on Friday and it was sitting outside, all detailed and perfect in one of the "Sold" car spaces outside the showroom. She called me at work and said "your new car is hot."

Its part of the Tech Package (Camera)

Not sure I understand, are there states where you can't? When I bought my '06 TSX they prepped it while I was off sitting around at the credit union waiting for someone to check the loan paperwork. Got a ride back to the dealer, picked up the car, drove back to the credit union, grabbed the check, drove back to the dealer, and all was done.

I believe the WDP is a SH-AWD with no tech as blackura mentioned earlier. The camera which is part of tech is on the rear spolier - that's the one I got

I went through this process on each car I bought, and took about 2 days before I could pick it up. Same thing when I was selling cars, the salesman was responsible for getting all the proper forms filled out and submitted and had to go to the DMV to get the plates ready, all before it could be picked up by the customer.

wow, I didn't know that some states have a certain number of days you gotta wait before you can take it home! That's is a complete shocker to me! LOL
In VA, you go to the dealer, do the deal, agree to the price, and while you do the paperwork, all DMV stuff is transmitted right at the finance office and they have a stack of permanent plates they just hand out to each car sold. I've bought and took a car home in as little as hour and a half.

I made an offer, and the next day the sales manager called me.
I know he didn't really say this exactly, but it was kind of like:
"I can do that. If you're serious, big mouth, come and get it!"

Nice choice. I personally like the rear spoiler on the car. Actually I like spoilers on cars period. They add a racey look to them.
And yes here in CT you can pretty much drive the car home same day. I know we waited and scheduled a pick up day for our TL, but when we bought the Maxima we bought it and drove it home the same day.
