I traded in my 2010 tl for this 2012, $31.500 excluding taxes and registration. .9 % financing for 60 months. here is conneticut we get to pay taxes on the difference between the new and the trade in car. It was the same when i traded my 2008 mdx for the 2010 tl also. saves a lot on car taxes

honestly, I liked the look of my 2010 better.
It looked more aggressive and the steering wheel seemed to feel a bit "tighter"?

The 2012 is more of a gentlemens car. What i like about the 2012 is the 6 speed transmission, better mph, less road noise and better suspension. I love sh-awd but I went with the base model because of the better gas mileage.

Really $31.500 on a brand new 2012 TL , i dont belive it ... lowest i saw people getting was 33.5K on a brand new one ....... if i were to get that price would have bought a new one instead of 2010 certified . Man i am jealous !!

yeah, i helps that I also got 2 other friends to buy their tl at the same time. We all gotten the same deal 32500-$1000 flex cash and free splash guards and a rear spoiler installed for about 400 bucks. only thing that needed to be added was taxes, regs and dealer fee( I think it was 299) and vin etch of 155. I looked at the finance charges of my friends tl and it was only about $790 I think for the 5 years lol.

As for me to answer Pete question about my 2010 trade, They got me on that one, I owed about 23500 on it and they only offered to pay off the loan for me. But since that loan was at 4.39 apr, I saved about $2500 in interest payments by trading in for a 2012 at .9 apr.

All in all, I am very happy I did this trade.

I had it painted at a local ford dealer $250 all inclusive for front and back. They did a real good job color matching it. I ordered some vinyl film and put it on the front shield to prevent rock chips. My 2010 tl had so many after 1 year I couldnt even keep track lols.
