Makes me want one even more

Interesting video which makes me want one even more! And why dont they use a shortened version of this or something else rather than those boring match, fist, dive, etc.. commercials?

It is that cool! The 4G "cockpit" is frickin' brilliant and very intuitive with media items. The only thing that bothers me in this demo is they edit out the driver hitting three buttons before saying, "call home". On the 3G Alpine system, it was that easy, hit the phone voice button and speak, but there is a little bit of navigating to do on the center dial before you can say any name in your presets. And there are now only 20 quick dial presents with Voice ID Tags, my old 3G had 50 stored and could be activated by voice only. Just thought I'd mention it as it's misleading as are all commercials. Once you get it down, it's no biggie. The car is that fun! Watch out for haters, because the TL is all love.

I always enjoy watching those videos. It just shows you how advanced Acura really is.

Cool.

Maybe parts of that will show up in future TV campaigns.

wow, that is a great video. Acura should shorten up and make it into a commercial. To bad that the restaurant he picked didn't have zagat ratings...

I only have to press phone pick up then press speak the next button down before I can issue a call command. Which 3rd button are you referring too?

does he really need to hold down the start button that long?

I test drove a TL tech and all you need to do is press and release.

Oh well great video. If I could have one thing from that commercial it would be the house he gets out of in the morning. =)

Also car too as as a second choice. =)

Very nice. Despite people's opinions about the looks, you have to admit: the tech on the car is way cool!

The new TL has much better presence on the road compared to the 3G TL. I moved back to the DC area lately and have seen several on the road. The profile and rear of the TL is terrific. The front is still controversial but there's no denying that it's a luxury car. I would probably get one if I were in the market for a new car.

This is my first post. I'm a 2002 MDX owner transitioning to a TL. I was planning to wait for the 2010 or 2011 release, but got the bug for a new TL yesterday. My 2002 MDX was in the shop yesterday for the timing belt service. Drove a TL FWD+Tech loaner all day.

Will try this weekend to get a deal comparable to what some of you have gotten recently ($37K range). Will be negotiating on a SH-AWD+Tech in Palladium Metallic and Taupe interior plus splash guards and body side moldings.

Great forum here. Glad to become a part of it.

The palladium metallic with the taupe interior is a killer combination. You're going to love it. Just be sure the ride on the SH-AWD car is not too firm for your liking.

Thanks PsychDoc. I test drove an AWD last night and find the ride acceptable. I'll get another opportunity this afternoon with the palladium metallic AWD this afternoon prior to the negotiating.
