Wanting to change to LED bulbs in the glove box and center console. Does anyone know how to get to the bulbs? I can't seem to get the center console but out.

take a flat head to it. There's a groove either on top or under the white diffuser. When i did mine I accidentally broke it but i was able to apply a bit of glue and now its just like new.

Oh btw, when you do get the clip out there won't be a lot of slack in the wire so be careful.

Tried it with the center armrest console. Managed to get the top out but the bottome seems to be harder to get loose. Didn't want to muscle it and break it. I'll try it again later.

I want to replace my reverse light with bright white LED and the rear turn signal with chrome bulbs. What are the reverse & turn signal bulb type?

Thanks

reverse is a 194/921/168. I know this because I just replaced every light in my car (2012) with led's. Either of the 3 will fit due to the fact they are all basically the same. I HIGHLY recommend you go with a CREE LED for reverse light. I tried 4 different kinds thanks to iJDMtoy.com. Those guys are awesome. Cree was the final result for projecting light in the dark for reverse.

Rear turns are a 7440. That is IF you are driving a 2012. idk if the 11's are the same or not but I know for a fact, the refrence list i found when I did a search was wrong for the 2012's.

Also the bumper is super easy to remove. It takes me less than 10 mins to get mine off. You need a Phillips head, flat head (for the clips) a 10mm socket for the nuts on the outside and an 8mm for the long akward bolts on the inside.

To the OP:

When you say console lights, are you referring to the overhead console where the sunroof switch is and the garage door buttons are etc?

Still trying to get that bulb socket out without breaking it. But here is another question, has anybody change their front and rear side marker bulbs to LED's? Should I go with white bulbs all around or red ones for the rear and amber ones for the front?

I just the checked the jdmtoy website..is this what you put for the rear turn signal bulbs

http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Extreme-Sup...led-sku312.htm

It also mentions resistors should be added to avoib bulb out error..did you get those as well? The lights are 'white colour'..to my knowledge the law requires amber bulbs only and white is illegal. Did you change the color? I don't know if the '12 TL's rear light covers are already amber or not. If they are amber/red..then the light bulb color would not make a difference and be legal.

TIA
