Anyone installed LED puddle light on the 4G yet? I know the stock interior dome light are 8V LED and unable to tap any wires. Is there another way I can tap the wire? I want the puddle light to be on in conjunction with the dome light.

I did this on my 3G TL and loved it. I'm interested to know too.

 

y don't you hook it up to the door courtesy lights?

 

because it doesnt fade out like the dome light.

kb1spec, i asked the same question on a different forum and they all gave me the same answer.. wire it to the dome light.

even though its 8v.. led's draw less power, so it should be fine.

I just wired it up in conjunction with the rear dome light. Fade in and out. Will post pic this weekend as well. Kind of tricky because I have to ask Honda for a diagram and found which 2 pins need to wire tap

what equipment did you guys get for this? is it just a standard LED strip? i saw a youtube video of 3G with it, looked awesome.
