I actually have LED DRLs/High Beams. I have had them on since last year and had no problems with them. The DRLs are if not brighter then the same brightness of the HID Low beams. The high beams are insanely bright. I have gotten mine straight from a Japanese manufacturer since I had an inside connect to get me these bulbs. They are not cheap because they are high quality LEDs and not crappy ones. They were $150 shipped.

So I installed the new bright led's today and im getting a check DRL message on the dash.

The LEDs on DRL mode are really bright....a little too bright actually. Anyway, since these are throwing off the error, I will be returning them.

before you return them, perhaps give some time to figure out if it's an easy fix? Brock never mentioned an error.

I imagine one of the resistors isn't connected properly

Been running LED DRL for probably 3 or 4 years now with something like this connected and no issues or errors.

What kind of bulb did you buy?

I have had no issues at all, I would double check all connections, also not every kit will work. The ballast needs the built in voltage regulator.
