I KNOW THIS IS IN THE WRONG SECTION! i just wanted to introduce this 4g to all the 3g'ers because i hated the 4g before this and now i love it!

I don't like the headlights, I don't like that hump on the fender line, and i still dont like that grille. If I wanted to look at a 4G TL I would browse the 4G section.
PS: I can bash the 4G all I want here. I'm in a 3G forum. This thread should be deleted.

The bumper just is too big and bland up front. You can paint the grill all you want and the headlights are still too small. The side screams the old Maxima. The rear is well, sigh.
Those PS brakes are what 19"?
Not to many did a BBK on the last TL, let alone this one.Compared to the last gen TL, this car is aimed seemingly at a total different buyer and my bet is we see a lot less modified 09 TLs compared to the last generation.
Looking at that pic, you think "wow that must be fast" but looking at tests, its no faster than a V-6 Accord or Camry, let alone cars in the luxury class.
It is beyond me why the team that designed the last Acura TL does not design EVERY ACURA MADE.
You don't NEED to mod the old TL to make it look good. Its good looking stock. It looks superb modded correctly. The new car needs severe plastic surgery just to look marginally acceptable.
Instead of us saying "this is the best looking Acura" we now have to debate "well thats the best looking Acura b/c its the least offensive".

Its trying to hard to be something it is not. Acura design was about understated elegance and good design. Maybe bland but not offensive in some cases. Acura is now trying to "stand out" but why? BMW has the engines/transmissions and sport to back up the "Bangle hey look at me" looks. Acuras are now underpowered and there is nothing to talk about outside of NAV. Why would you want attention in it?

The crappy designers from Toyota and Nissan attacked and took over Acura's Design Center in Torrence California.

definitely tap that...
drove both the awd and the fwd 4G yesterday - it moves quite well; i thought the fwd picked up faster than the awd, but definitely had the torque steer. awd version literally had none and the navigation screen IS SO CLEAR! wow

Burning Brakes
The 3g TL is definitely a better looking car. I think the 4g is okay looking in some colors. It will apeal to a different buyer; older, more afluent, who is looking for more luxury. I'm older now with a better paying job. I'd consider the awd with tech if I were in the market for a new car.
