Is it just me?

I have the 4g FWD tech pack. I had the wood trim for the base installed in my 4 g today along with the wood shift knob. I like it much better then what comes in the tech. Anyone else agree?

My wife would not agree. She won't have anything with wood in it if she has a choice. She and I differ on that point.

To each, his own. I like the look of the stock interior with the tech package.

I wonder, have most of you seen the wood trim in the base TL? Its only 3 pieces on the console. The not an astray cover the shifter area, and the sliding console door.

I've been debating over this aswell, plus I want to add the wood steering wheel to set it off. I'd rather do this than mess with those cheap, sticker dash kits that people tend to use.

This was my thought and It looks very nice this way. Its a very dark wood so it not like the bling type stuff you see on cars. That steering wheels is expensive, but I may take the plunge soon. I will post pictures soon.

I feel the interior looks cleaner without the fake wood. I had the wood inserts on my old 2002 TL Type-S and made sure to 'x' the wood inserts this time around.
