Just wanted to vent a little bit about how ugly the 4G TL is. I dunno maybe its just the pictures and in real life it might look allright. You have to wonder what the designers over at acura are thinking. First thing I thought when I saw the 4G was "ITS A FREAKIN CAMRYYY!!!" . If you take that ugly grill off the TL, notice what you are left with. Anyway, im very dissapointed. I was hoping it would be nice, so I could get the Type S round 2012 or whenever it came out. Next car is gonna be a infiniti, far as I can see theyre goin strong.

It does look familiar. However, I think it will look better in person. The 09 TSX was roundly bashed for it's looks by those on the TSX board but it's selling well.

I think the front of the Camry look better. At least it doesn't carry that big chrome grille onto the top of the hood area. Acura messed up big time!

I personally think the new TL looks more like the new Hundyai Genesis. I parked my 3G TL next to one yesterday and the Genesis is only slightly larger and looks VERY much like the 4G

Unfortunately, comparison threads have been shut down as soon as they appear. I expect the mods to close this thread in 3....2....1

I saw an Avalon today and I thought of the new TL immediately.... oh lord, this is getting from bad to worse!!! From the Camry to the Avalon... sigh! Acura's design department is really losing it.

Have a look at the 4G TL in motion (video in other thread) and you won't be mistaking it for a Camry!
