Nope, but I bet they'll add it as an option within a yr or two.

Not the only deal breaker for me, and it is hard at least in ATL to find a G35 with ICC Tech option.

if they do add it, it would be coupled with the CMBS option. My guess is it'll be added in the refresh, 2012 TL.

What's cruise control? LOL It's just not applicable in LA...

So what's the difference in intelligent or dumb radar cruise control? It just sounds petty to give this gem of a car...

ICC is great for Road Warriors, which most of the Honda Customers are. I started using this in my 08 G35 and Can't live without it no more

...not compared to the German cars which basically come stripped-down, unless you empty out your wallet on options.

Of course that creates another model to inventory. Honestly this is insane. We get 12-15 cars a month. We are expected to split this allocation among TL, TL Tech, TL SH-AWD, TL Tech AWD, TL Tech AWD w/ HPT. Next year they add 6-MT to the mix, probably in AWD and AWD w/Tech. Add in the 9 exterior colors and 4 interior colors! How are dealers supposed to have cars available for customers?

Doesn't most dealership just stock some of the more "popular" configuration and colors (for example, 2 Tech, 4 SH-AWD, 4 Tech SH-AWD, 1 6MT SH-AWD, 1 6MT TECH SH-AWD) and let the customer decide whether it's worth it to wait or special order?

When I was looking at the Lexus IS, I noticed that most dealers would have a similar set of package for the AWD cars vs RWD cars, leaving only the differentiator to be the color of the exterior and interior.

Yeah....it also has a lot to do with what cars are selling in what particular region. A few months ago, when I was looking into the G35's at my local Infiniti dealership, all they had were the G35x's and the colors black, platinum, and something similar to bronze......their reason was that their customers only wanted the car if it had AWD (due to Chicago weather I guess) and those particular colors. Similar thing with my local BMW dealer.....when I was looking into the 335i's a while ago, my local dealer only had cars with no Nav's......their reason was that their customers preferred cars without it.

Yes, you try to, but since orders are placed 3 months prior to the cars arriving on the lot, what color do you get? Another example, there are 96 possible combinations of MDX in trim and color. We were allocated 5 for January production.

Everyone went off topic as usual, so I'll repeat my question:

What is the difference between intelligent CC or radar guided CC?

I can't imagine any type of intelligent CC that didn't use radar as it's sensor. I'd say they are one and the same, just different names for different brands.

its the same thing really, using a sensor it detects a car in front and when one comes and slows, the car you are in will slow automatically. The only amazing Cruise I have seen is in the S class and the 7' series BMW. You can set 6 presets and have active cruise too, and as well it can stop and go.

Boy, you can sure count me out. I use cruise control religiously to maintain a consistent speed. The last thing I want is for the car to mimic the inconsistent driving patterns of the clueless.

When I approach a slower car, I change lanes, pass, and return to the right lane. If I cannot pass, I'll drop out of cruise until I can.

Really dumb idea to me.
