Talking If the price is Right!!! Pics..

So since graduating college and getting a job recently, I am ready to move onto my second car. My first car being a 7th gen accord. that project is done and it is time for a nice, solid car.

I am hoping to cash in on this baby. 2010, with the 3k incentive, they "may" throw in the wheels for free, because they still have about 12 2010's to get off the lot, and I am the type of person to get up and walk out the door if I don't get what I want (just to get a good deal).

Originally I wanted white, but they do not have any left with tech, and after since how awful the paint match was on the bumpers (on WDP), I was turned off.

Some pics today

The prices I'm seeing currently, in hindsight I wish I delayed my TL purchase until now, (and that I lived in Orlando). Then again, of course, hind sight is always 20/20. :slap tomato at myself:

I agree w/ MurkeyRiversTL, it's the end of the world.

But the longer answer is many factors: the TL has an MMC right around the corner, the used car market is very hot right now, the competition is fierce and other manufacturers have stepped their games up, stricter federal MPG regulations on the horizon...lots of factors at play right now and it is definitely a good time to buy, especially outgoing and/or soon to be changed models.

I got my manual TL SH-AWD for $37,700 out of the door (+ tax) a month ago (I live in Seattle) and I did work hard to get it....my first offer 2 weeks before for $36,000 + destination charge was basically ignored...

I'm pretty sure that right now my initial offer may get through...But the risk was to end up with a color I did not want (white or silver) oh well.....next time!!

However, I still think that deals in the south (especially Florida) are on average better than the ones you can secure in Seattle...the economy is doing ok up here and the TL is definitely a "techie" car, very appreciated in the Northwest...

Noes! Not yet! I was hoping to save up for one of your grilles

Nexson: Paint master, done some custom grilles for 7th gen Accords, and probably other cars that I don't know of.

But if you do get the TL, I can't wait to see what you do to that

Thanks Guys! Hopefully I can grab it. Being still young I do not have credit and it is not likely I would be approved, but pops is coming through with the co-sign which is very unlike him and I have VERY grateful, because he does not believe in a new car after only five years. Anyways good to see you John! Man you have had quite a few cars in the past years, your car looks great! I really wanted white but they did not have any left with tech =(

I spend 13 hours today putting my car back to stock, so I am ready to do business, we will see what happens in the coming days "they are supposely going to work with me" ya ya ya-

Hey Aman! lets see what i can do with the TL! The accord was got me into this custom game, and for that I am grateful! Thanks for the compliments!

Advice from someone who learned the hard way in the early 20s, in a much better economy I might add...If you don't have enough cash in the bank to put 10% down AND make a years worth of payments comfortably - then I'd hold off. Deals will still be around in a year - stock up on the liquid - THEN - shop for toys.

Yeah car companies are trying to move cars more now than ever due to the still bad economy, expect more price slashes, hopefully we won't be back in the great depression era, because the only thing that brought us out of that was a world war if I recall...

Nice to see a familiar name from the old site . These cars nowadays aren't like our accords. If you hack the navi i'm the first in line. Good to see you here.
