How to set the Side Mirror auto when reverse for 2011 TL?

 

flick the side mirror switch left or right depending on which one you want to look at.. keep in mind its only 1 mirror at a time.

That's most likely not going to work.

The TL has an "auto tilt" feature for the side mirrors. Essentially if you have the mirror selector switch on the left or right mirror, the corresponding mirror will tilt down when you put the transmission in reverse. If you don't want the mirror to tilt, you need to leave the switch in the center position.

What I'm saying is that if you select either mirror while in reverse, that mirror is going to tilt down automatically, you won't be able to control it with the toggle. You if you need to adjust your mirrors, you need to do it in any transmission position other than reverse.
