Arrow How many of you prefer the TSX rear end to the TL?

Love everything about the 4g TL except the rear end. In comparison, the TSX seems to have a more balanced look to it. The rear nicely complments the entire look of the car. I wish the TL came with that rear end

I do like the rear of the tsx, reminds me of the 3g's. I park next to a 09 every night. I love how they broke up the slope of the rear with the '12, subtle yet very noticeable. So I say nay on the 1st 4g design, but applaude the remodel.

The 09-10 TSX look are great. When the 2011 model came out they put pink tail lights.

Funny, my gf's bro (who lives with us) has an 09 TSX he's about to return (lease). In the garage I can definitely say that the TSX rear end is likely to be more appealing to more people. Personally, I do like the look of the TL. But my tastes aren't necessarily reflective of most people (I bought Basque Pearl Red if that says anything about me).

I like bits and pieces of both cars but i think the tl interior isn't that great in comparison to the tsx

Interesting, both he and I prefer the TL interior. Different strokes for different folks!

However we both prefer either the TSX or TL to the ILX. Goodness, I just sat in one this weekend at a dealership...really felt like a Civic with leather seats. I could have been happy with either a TL or TSX but I would never buy an ILX!

fake cf trim and all these plastic pieces that don't flow nicely make it very cheap looking inside

I like the rear of my TL, but that silver trim piece is painted and I have the apperance package. Its the ONLY way I like the TL. Otherwise to me its just BLAND. I never cared for the 4g tsx. I had the 3g TSX will full aperance package and I loved that! Wish I had kept it. That car was perfect for me!

Great replies but some of you are going slightly off topic. The TSX is a no contest against the TL in almost all departments. I have absolutely no doubt about that. I love the TL eapecially the interior but I am only comparing the design of the rear end ( trunk, tail lights, etc) and the overall look from the rear. The car would've looked a lot lo better with a TSX kind of a rear end.

The newest TSX is a nice car. Just wish they offered an AWD version with the V6.

Hands Down, the 4G TL in every way, shape or form. IMHO.

i think the TSX rear end looks accord-ish/toyota corolla-ish... Even worse with that wing some of them have... The TL slopes downwards, looks substantial and classy.

I think you'd have a better argument talking about the front end, as the TSX has a much more aggressive face IMO that I wish the TL would have taken more cues, or shared general characteristics...

And a 6MT.

As a 1st gen TSX owner, I actually like the 1g rear over the 2g rear of the TSX. Much more Integra-like.

And I prefer the 4g TL rear over the 2g TSX's.

Acura TSX is actually a Honda Accord and Acura CSX a Honda Civic

In Europe, the TSX is sold as a Honda Accord.

See link below:

In Asia the Acura CSX is sold as a Honda Civic

Lightbulb Tsx

I prefer the rear of the TSX over the TL - especially the 2009-2010 pre-MMC w/ the white instead of pink lights. The shape of the lights (pointy) & the exhaust seem better, as well as the placement of the reflectors. Things are just better proportioned.

Now it would be nice if the TSX got LEDs ...

Not at all..2009-2011 TL has a better rear end than the TSX or the "refreshed" 2012 TL...jmho

Honestly the TSX rear is perfect for the TSX and the TL rear is perfect for the TL. That's the way I see it anyway

One thing I dislike about the 09 TSX that my gf's bro just gave back (lease) was the fact that the license plate was on the trunk lid. He had a plate holder that only had two holes for screws at the top so every time he closed the trunk the plate would rattle. My TL is solid sounding.
