How to Disable Beeps When Car is Running
Anybody know if there is a way to keep the car from beeping if you walk away with the keys while the car is running? I didn't see anything in the owner's manual and almost 100% sure you can't deactivate the beeps but throwing it out there just in case I missed something. I don't want to disable the actual car alarm or reduce volume, however when warming the car up on cold mornings I don't want the world to know that I started it and just walked away.

I guess I should have done a better job of searching, but google pointed me to a post that was already out there. Doesn't seem like there is a way to turn that function off.

if i know im gonna start the car and walk out of it, i usually just plug the key into the slot.
i think disabling that sensor would also lock the doors and turnk even after you left the keys inside. kind of worse than hearing the beeping sound.

Just rip out the damn beeper, but keep all sensors intact.
