Help me decide...
Hey everyone. First let me acknowledge RonJon for the donor pics (wheels, aero kit) and Pete2010 (grille on his 4G) below. I would also like to acknowledge AckTL05 (tails) and JnC/Whitebeast (WDP color matched headlights) for their donor pics.
Here is where I need help in deciding which direction to take my MBM 4G SH-AWD.
I will be installing the following at the end of March or when Rondy's Aero kit ships.
1) Type II Legends
2) Rondy's new Aero kit
3) I will be color matching the headlights to MBM
4) These tails are already installed from AckTL05
Which leads us to my dilemma... Since I am going to be color matching the headlights with the tails blacked out and running the Liquid Silver wheels, I am wondering if I should entertain the pic on the bottom which is a variation of the RonJon grille in order to help break up the front end since the headlights will be color matched. My thinking is that by doing the split on the grille instead of all MBM, it would help tie the front to the rear of the car and maintain some balance with the wheels?
Your thoughts and comments will be greatly appreciated! (Pete2010's 4G)

I am obviously back and forth on it right now. If I do the split then it somewhat retains a little of the factory look while providing the serious face lift the RJ Grille provides. It also would help tie in the rear strip on the trunk as I will not be color matching that.

^^^^ they are my winters with Blizzak LM-25's
I will be putting Continental Extreme Contact DW's on the Legends. Can't decide between 245/40's or 245/35's. (Bad roads here) Not sure that it will make much of a difference in reality between the two sizes anyway once you are at a 20" wheel.
**you did not give your $.02 worth on the topic**

I'm going to do what you're showing on the bottom pic, but to the stock grill ... as reflected in this pic:
[/QUOTE]
Regarding your two options ... I'm not keen on doing this to the aftermarket grill.

You don't have any damn snow in Las Vegas, haha! And I did vote, but just so you know, I voted to paint the entire thing, not just some of it.

^^^ not in Las Vegas..... Reno/Lake Tahoe which is getting around 2ft of snow as we speak. I drove to work this morning in 3-4 inches of snow.
looking so far like it will be unanimous for full paint.

He actually left Reno with that car and is moving on to a Honda Dealer. We'll see if he can manage to pull off the same RonJon Treatment there, he definitely brings a mod friendly attitude.

Yes, I stopped by the dealership on Tuesday to say goodbye to him and to pay for your RJ grille and Legend II's. Such a great guy. Definitely going to miss him and will keeping my fingers crossed that he does not have to stay in SF very long and actually gets the job at Acura Corp.

If you went with the stock grill i might push you to experiment with the two tone grille, but for the RJ grille I would just leave it one color. There will still be a few small parts that tie in the wheel color with the front and back. with the 3G there is a lot less silver/gray pieces, but the silver wheels still look hot so the 4G wont be any different.
