2013 acura tl shawd stock fog light 12 volt, 55 watt, h11 bulb does any body know how many lumen that puts out. Maybe I can replace with and after market bulb that's a little brighter and throws off a blue color like the stock headlights I heard after a certain lumen number of brightness the bulb gets bluer.

 

The color is KELVIN and the intensity of the light is LUMENS (brightness)

You can change the factory Halogen Fogs to an HID bulb with an HID kit.

3000K (yellow) - Best visibility in fog
4500-5000K - Factory Headlamp color
5500- Crystal White
6000- White with hint of blue

After 5500K, you loose light output (lumens), brightest is the OSRAM CBI 5500K @ 3200 lumens.

 

The Lumen® - G8 LED Headlight Conversion Kit is 6500lm combined so like 3250lm per. I have set of Lumen I use during the summer (3years) and a set of regular photonic yellow for winter. The LEDs did not help much or if any during heavy fog or borderline blizzard condition however do like them during the summer nights.

5500K will be a little bluer than stock.

 

I hate HID's installed on lamps... especially open lamps. Unless you don't mind blinding people. Plus, no cut off line in a open lamp looks tacky IMHO.
