Getting Huper Optik tint tomorrow

Going down to TintMasters in Canoga Park tomorrow for window tinting. Paying 250 for Huper Optik. Any suggestions on what to look for, type of Huper Optik?

Anyone in socal use Tint Masters? They have pics of them tinting ferari's and other expensive cars, and Andrew Bynum went there as well so I'm assuming they're pretty good.

Ok soooooo you were right...... 250 was a little low. I really thought my girlfriend set up something good.

The total cost was 280

I must say that Tint Masters in Canoga Park has to be the best tint place ever!!!!! 280 for Huper Optik dark on all five windows, plus they took my girlfriend and I to the mall to shop while they tinted the car. We showed at 9 for the appointment and by 915 we were at the mall, by 1030 we were tired of the mall and gave the shop a call to pick us up. They told us they had just finished the car and they were going to call us. Very quick, very nice, and the tint came out perfect.

I highly suggest that any socal guys go to Tint Masters in Canoga Park, it was worth the 75 mile drive for me.

Amazing price. They are charging $450 in my area (central Maryland). I wish I could drive 75 miles to save 170 bucks.

Wow great price. I wonder how they make any money selling it for that price.

I honestly couldn't tell you how they make money selling for that price lol. Maybe they liked my girlfriend, or maybe because they have so much business that they can do it for cheap. Whatever the case is I'm not complaining.

Yea, it's awesome, and it looks great! Do you know what kind of Huper they put on? Was it the dual layer ceramic or the ESC?

ESC from what I was told. Not quite sure what it means but sounds cool lol. I know the dual layer stuff is thick and someone had mentioned windows rolling slower because of it.

Ok, that makes me feel A LOT better about what Song's charged me. Song's Tint Masters in mid city only does the dual layer ceramic series...and it does slow the windows down a little in dry weather and quite a bit in wet weather.

funny they have headquarters here in Houston, TX
http://www.huperoptikusa.com

and I wanted them to recommend a dealer, and they said they don't have any for car installs! only for flat windows (home or office windows).

So I'm searching for a dealer in Houston that can do my TL. anybody ?

From what I've been told you can't Huper Optik tint the back glass cause that type of tint does not "shrink". It can only be used on flat surfaces like the side windows.

Not for me - at least they were able to do my rear glass. It did take about a month to fully dry, basically looked cloudy due to all the water they could not get out, and since its non-porous, it takes longer to dry than normal tint.

I don't think they do automotive tinting but it doesn't hurt to call and see if they will or know someone thru their contacts I guess.
