front grill painted

So I was thinking of painting my front grill on my wdp either matte black or a gloss black. Has anyone painted their grill before using those colors? Which one would look better.

Most members prefer to color match the grill with the car . That minimizes the size of it and it appears better integrated with the car .Different color tend to highlight the size of the grill which defeats the purpose of painting it.

I know that doesn't answer your question but personally I don't think that any Black will go well with the WDP.

I did my grill matte black and left the acura symbol and outer shield regular. I am really surprised how good it looks on my 05 ABP.

Let's just say that the 3G did not have the same issue as the 4G, .

If you decide to paint it, have it clear wrapped after the paint cures to help protect it from stone chips..

I have had mine painted, and yes I've had to deal with a few paint chips. Nothing touch up paint doesn't cure. Not that many though, like 2 in 2 years.
