Hey guys, im about to attempt later tonight to remove the front bumper to take out the headlights for JNC to work on.... any last minute tips? How hard would you rate it for someone who never works on a car??

I have been reading and searching on these forums but just wanted any last minute tips!

Is it easier to jack up the front end or just leave it on the ground? Also, my garage is tiny, so am i able to work on it in the driveway and once bumper is off can i drive the car into garage without any problems?!

Thanks guys alot..... this site has been so helpful!!

It's not hard at all. It will take about 15-30 minutes to remove the bolts. Have you seen the PDFs showing the front lip kit install? I don't have that link but look it up. it shows you all the bolts. All you really need is a 10mm socket, philips screwdriver for the screw in the wheelwell area, and a flat screw driver for those plastic clips that you pop the center out of (not all the way out).

4 - 10mm bolts on top of the grill (under front lip of hood)
2 - 10mm bolts on each side of the bottom
2 or 3 plastic clips on bottom
2 plastic clips in each wheel well area.

I took mine loose last Sunday.. still fresh in my mind or close to it.. LOL

Please find that PDF showing all the details for fog light and turn signal disconnect as well.

A couple of previous threads.

One thing to be very careful of is the sensor that's attached to the lower grill on the bumper. Make sure to disconnect this first or you will break the mount. If you look through the bottom grill near the middle, you will see it.
