Hello I am a rookie on this forum. Just picked up my 09 Acura TL Tuesday. I traded in my 2007 300C for it. One of the features I loved about my 300C was the ability to have the foglights on without having the headlights on.

I was wondering is there someway you can do this with the Acura TL.

 

Put DRL on.

 

I have this done on my 09. The best and safest way to do it, is to rewire the fog lights, by buying the pigtails that fit the lights and wire from scratch. I purchase a honda accord fog light switch and installed a relay. The relay is activated from the parking lamps, so If I leave the fogs on after I cut the car off, they will get turned off.

 

Man you sound like a mechanic talking. lol But I appreciate the input. I've put aftermarket foglights on a car before by wiring them to the parking lights. Im really not that sure about relay switches.

Thanks to this forum I found out how to disable DRL. That was my only drawback on the TL. I didnt buy a Granny car, I bought an Acura TL!!
