I just completed this fluid change and added 3.5 quarts. Highly recommend Honda/Acura ATF only.

Just my two cents Ron3.7 however I personally don't replace the crush washer and fill the ATF through the dip stick tube...doesn't take much time at all and saves me from having to replace the washer. Whichever route you take we'd enjoy your thoughts on the shift changes after the new fluid goes in. How many miles do you run the oil before replacing? On a side note I got 10% my Honda fluid when I purchased an entire case.

Majestic Honda web order has Honda DW-1 fluid for $5.56/qt. (List $8.30, 33% discount). Honda fluid (08200-9008) and Acura fluid (08200-9008A) are identical except for the label on the bottle.
Website: Majestic Honda - The Internet's #1 Honda Automotive Parts Store
A case of 12 is $66.72, no tax, $4.95 handling, and $13.26 shipping is $84.93/case ($7.08/qt). That's a ~15% discount, no tax, delivered to my front door. Some other Acura parts are also available to order if you know the part number (air filter, cabin filter, tranny filter, oil/tranny plug washers, fluids, etc) and they are used on other Honda vehicles. Therefore other maintenance parts can be ordered with only one handling charge per order.

I'm sure there are other websites but this is one I found with a good price. I have ordered from them before with no issues.

I believe the book states at every 30K miles, I change it every other oil change after having the trans crap out in my 3G TL at 95K Miles with changes at 60K, then every 30K thereafter.

The fluid is cheap insurance!

Just like @Reorge I change at 15,000 miles. Very cheap insurance, the job only takes 20 minutes and gives me peace of mind.
