Finally picked up my TL!
Here it is! Picked up my 2009 Acura TL SH-AWD w/ Tech. Drove about 6 hours to find this color and spec combination and spent a good 2 hours negotiating the price down to $22,500 Canadian. Has 74,000km but it's CPO'd which is what I mainly wanted.
Car drives great and body is in immaculate condition but it does have that whine coming from the propeller shaft which I will definitely be going into the dealer to fix. While it's in there, is there any specific recalls or things I should be looking out for and asking about? Also, do all Acura dealerships provide you with a loaner? I can't be without a car for too long...

Congrats on the ride. Nice colour :-) I drove about two hours away to pick up my ride, but it was worth it to find the right colour combo with right mileage and right price.
The dealer I go to will provide a loaner if you book in advance. I had anything from CSX, TSX, to TL to try out. Once I had a loaner TL for about two month while our MDX was waiting to get the door panels re-painted by a third party body shop.
Get a tint and start modding away.

Tint, lip kit and intake will be probably coming up in the summer. Not trying to mod the car too much and can't afford it. Too broke lol.
Also, does anyone know where you can buy an OEM replacement key for fairly cheap (the keyless version) since my Driver 1 is beat to hell...

Congrats on finding your perfect 4G TL.
The car is well worth your time and effort spent in locating it.

Nice swoop Andrew! Can't wait to see what you have planned for the TL. Your TSX was built nice as well.

You likely won't be able to find a key for less than $200 ($145 for key and $55 for programming). You can sometimes find them cheaper on ebay but my local dealer said they don't always work and won't refund the $55 programming fee if that's the case. Someone else on here wrapped theirs in carbon fiber vinyl...you may want to consider that route.

Congrats on the car! I still can't figure out why they got rid of those wheels on the 2012+ models. They are so much better looking than the newer ones.

Thanks for the comment guys. My TSX has been parted out and the car is stock with aspec kit and is for sale. Trying to move that thing. $6k if anyone wants it lol. Don't think I'll be modding too much of this car.

Thanks guys. Really loving the car and the power... Mpg, not so much lol. My TSX was pretty good on gas, we'll see how good this handles. i just gotta stop flooring it... but it's just so fun right now, especially in corners.
I have a minor mod list already. For this year, I'll be doing tint, weathertech digital fit and short ram intake. If money is there, oem lip kit. Then next year, I'm trying to find OEM 19" wheels of some sort. Maybe MDX ones or something so it doesn't look out of place and looks original. I don't want to lower the car at all... Huge mistake doing that on my previous car and I just don't want to go through the hassle anymore.

I just put 20's on my 12 Sh-AWD and definitely will be lowering it shortly. My last 3G was lowered and I had no problem with it for years. It wasn't slammed but lowered enough to minimize the wheel/tire gap. Curious to know what hassle you had.

Loool. I ain't doing shit all except intake this summer. Maybe lip kit if I ain't broke but I'm always broke.
First car I put lowering springs, shocks blew. My TSX I had Tein SS and those blew, installed D2 air suspension with accuair and halfway through installing I popped a bag. Just all these headaches don't seem worth it. TL SH-AWD suspension is super stiff already.
What hassle did you have with lowering your car?

That's my problem too right now is gas consumption. I had a 4 cyl before and a 6 cyl before that. Passing power is just to good and I love to floor it past idiots on the road driving the speed limit on the highway in the left lane
I would say look at getting some light weight aluminum rims 19 or 20's if your really looking to switch out the stock rims (I just put winters on mine Michelin PA4's) and looking to get 19's currently looking at a couple different rim manufacturers.
At the end of the day it's your decision but I would go for light weight non OEM rim for 19"

From what I understand MDX don't fit on our cars according what others have said.

That's why I'm specifically looking for performance 19" light weight rims because the vehicle is already heavy enough.
One thing I still need to do is switch the tranny over to synthetic like I did the engine oil.
