Do I need to remove timing belt to replace timing belt tensioner?

this is the part number i just wanted to know if its a easy replacement or if the whole timing belt needs to be removed

I hope you are not going to install this fake tensioner? One of my coustumers had enough of this tensioner for 10 thousand miles, then it completely leaked out, the belt jumped over and he replaced the engine.
And yes, it changes without removing the belt, but you still have to remove the crankshaft pulley.

how is it a fake part it has the oem part number

Go to Dealer or OEM Online Dealer with part. I don't trust Amazon or Ebay for 'original' parts either.

but it's not from a honda dealership seller..

it's from a store/seller named "nono-parts"

it's very easy to acquire "Honda part labels" and slap it on a box.

the name nono-parts is very telling...it's telling you no no to the parts. lol


only buy parts from Honda.
this goes for amazon too. weed out the sellers to only the manufactures.

I ordered a alternator, belt tensioner and belt from them and the website took a week to confirm and ship the parts. Then it took 2.5 weeks just to get here.
I'd just go to a honda dealership locally and give the parts guy the part number.
