2010 TL AWD 6MT: New King
+1
As some of you here on Acurazine may know, I traded in a 2009 Lexus IS 250 AWD at 4000 miles for the 2010 TL 6MT.
The Lexus was the biggest financial mistake I ever made.
The IS was a POS and the most uncomfortable car ever. My brother's old Geo Metro is more comfortable than the IS.
ClubLexus, meh.

If you are looking for performance only, the TL will be every bit as equal to the 535ix other than acceleration and torque. I don't see much difference in the twisties and cornering. If one puts a premium on both performance and luxury, the 535ix is the car. With the alcantara suede headliner to the beautiful bamboo wood, and the Logic7 sound system which is a smidgen better than the ELS. But you do have to pay a premium price for it.

This thread was not meant to bash on the TL since I traded it in. I loved my TL but this was an opportunity for me to own a 5-series as they had a rebate of $6000 to get rid of them to make room for the next generation 5-series. Otherwise it would be out of my league with the options I wanted.
Still love the TL, evident by my postings here. Heck, I have posted more after the fact than I did while I had it. I support the car in all the forums I visit and come across. I am one of the few that has always loved the styling from the first day I laid my eyes on it.

The only camera I have is a Nikon DSLR which at the moment my brother in law is borrowing and is in Australia for a family wedding. I do have a droid which takes decent pics and try to take some once this weather here clears up.
I only lost $500 dollars on the trade. I bought the TL used and paid $31500. So this helped immensly. Now if I had bought new I would have lost close to $8000 since most people pay around $39000 for it new.
