Courtesy light modification
Just a thought here. I have installed an LED bulb in my courtesy light. It is a double sided light, so the lights pointed up (into the door) doesn't add much light to the ground. If I paint the top of the light holder with a reflective paint, will it help get more light out?

you could do all that or just buy these from v led.
I have them and they fit with a very minor modification to the housing.

I would rather spend 10 bucks then paint...just me though.

Thanks, that was my other thought. I am looking at:

To change the bulb I got with two sides of 4 with one side of 6, just wondered what the great folks here thought.

I also had to squeeze the contacts together that hold the bulb in.
Just a note to my original question. I got a new bulb that has 6 LEDs facing down. IT changes the amount of light quite a bit.
