From CL to TSX to RDX to TL

greetings everyone!

just picked up my 09 grigio metallic tech a/t shawd TL last friday and am loving it. just a few small mods for now such as window deflectors and lowering springs, maybe an intake before the summer.

the only thing i don't enjoy as much is how the remotes are so destroyed, with the silver painted portion mostly chipped off. it would've been easier to maintain if it were made out of just black plastic.

the car drives like a dream, and having snow tested the shawd system in my RDX, this was the main reason why i purchased a TL with shawd.

Congratz! What year RDX did you have? Do you still have the RDX, or did you trade it in for the TL?

Now, don't you wish you'd have chosen your screen name a little more carefully?

RDXtremist, since you have both the 08 RDX and 09 TL, how would you compare the TL's ride compared to the RDX's? I had a 1G RDX as a loaner a few times, and found it an fun nimble fun to drive SUV, though I found the ride a bit stiff, esp over road bumps. What is your opinion on the ride of the 2 vehicles?

yes, the RDX suspension is stiffer and the road bumps are more obvious compared to the TL. but imo this is what makes the RDX fun to drive because it is quick to maneuver. the TL on the other hand gives you more of the executive comfort.

Congrats on your next Acura! I guess the next one in line will be the new NSX, yes?

By the way, if you decide you want to get a new AcuraZine name, send me a PM and I'll help you out.
