Can I cancel a car purchase 2009 TL??? Canada
Signed an a agreement and put a downpayment of $3,000 on April 1st for 2009 TL.
Was told it should take about 2-3 days to get car.....its been three weeks now!
I have called them many times.....everytime they told me its on its way.
Can I cancel? without any fines or fees?
Thanks

what's your contract say about cancellation? is it specified in the contract that delivery would be made x period of time, if so and the didn't meet thier obligation then you should be able to cancel at no cost. If not you may have to negotiate your way out, if the dealers a dick.

If Canada laws are similar to those in the US, it will depend on explicit language in your contract. If a document exists that indicates deliver in up to or about 3 days, then I think there is strong legal grounds for cancellation.
Remember, it is your burden to show the breach of contract. If you claim a verbal 3-day promise and the dealer disputes this, to a certain extent, you are SOL. If the dealer acknowledges the 3-day promise, you may get some $$/discounts/bonus or even cancellation based on the following type of questions:
How long of a delay? Did the dealer really expect delivery in their showroom within the time you were told? Was the delay a fault of the dealer? Why wait 3 months to initiate legal action (relative to a 3-day promise)?, Has there been reasonable communication from the dealer regarding delivery status ('its on it way' = fail)? Has the dealer made any reasonable accommodations (temporary vehicle)....

Contract doesn't state anything about delivery date or cancellations policies.
I still want the car but just not from them anymore
Sales rep told me 2-3 days...so i called the second week to followup...was told its on its way, anyday now....called this week again after my email was not answered....told me they have a VIN # but the car should be here any day now....
What's going on here....just be straight me...
I told the dealer i want some accessories...was told they will try to gave a good deal....is this enough for the delay??

It depends on the laws in your area, exact terms of contract, etc... but you could argue that they are not negotiating in good faith. I would stop by and ask for a refund or ask for a written promise to compensate for the delays, including an expiration if they don't get it to you in a week or so.

I bought in Canada as well and I believe it had some kind of 30 day stipulation. Why don't you just ask the dealership?

It depends what "a good deal" is ... everything is a good deal in a carsalesman's world.

Went to the dealership....was told because of the recession...supply is very limited for the demand out there...
What demand? Shit, I have seen less than five of these rides in Toronto...there's like 5 million people in Toronto....
But like always was told its on its way anyday day...you will have it in this month...
I was however given stickers for my two old son...my wife got an Acura Coffee mug(My wife is 8 months pregnant dumb ass, she can't drink coffee while is pregnant) and I was given an Acura hat...What the F*%K!!!
