Cool Body Side Moldings

How many of you opted for the body side moldings. The dealer wants $211 for the moldings & install. Do you think its worth it?

it depends on where you keep your car. i try to park away from other cars so i didn't get it but if you're always parked in a crowded area with lots of idiots who slam their doors against yours then its worth considering. and i personally think the moldings take away from the looks of the car .02

I hate the way they look and I can tell you from other vehicles I've owned that they won't do a thing to protect your car against random dings.

Save your money and park farther away.

Same here....i think it kills the natural lines of the car. I too always park far away and walk rather than park close to everyone else!

Personally, I love them, seen them on a car in the showroom and I immediately ordered them, think they came to $175 when I got mine

Not sure what color your car is, but you can get them cheaper from Ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2009-...item4a9de90aa5

Installation Instructions:

But I agree with the rest of the guys, I would bother doing it. I also find that over time side door moldings sometimes yellow....
And yes the way they are located on the car you will still get door dings. They are positioned too low on the car.
I would get the splash guards if you don't have them already. You can buy those on E-Bay as well.
