Black Friday might be the end of the TL
If all goes right tomorrow the TL will be replaced, right now it's gonna be a 2014 ford f150 in a Lariat, FX4 or Platinum trim level. If the numbers work the TL wI'll be no more. I will have to open a FS thread for the parts I have laying around.

Kate Snow (pinch hitting for Brian Williams) on NBC's Nightly News reported that Black Friday is becoming one of the biggest car selling days of the year.

I have a '12 F150 that I got in October. If you buy a '14 you are getting the closeout stock before the new '15 "Aluminum" model so you should get a great deal, as you probably know. The F150 is a huge vehicle. 5500 lbs. or more.
Two very different vehicles, but I only got the truck to carry stuff.
I would rather drive the car all the time if I could.
MHO, the Ford is a good vehicle, but Honda and Ford do things very differently. The truck is pretty crude, actually.

I have a 2013 F150 FX4 with appearance package and it's an amazing Truck I don't have a single complaint about it, the ventilated seats are great! You can't go wrong with the F150, that being said I just got my SH-AWD Acura and I Love it as well, my wife is currently driving the truck, lol.

One of my biggest issues with the car is the fact the dealer had it for over 4 months. Acura customer service is horrible and I had to get a lawyer involved to get my car fixed right. I had the crows feet issue. The car still isn't right, the chrome trim was removed so many times it doesn't sit right anymore. The dealer said they fixed it and acknowledge it's the best it's going to get. Why not put new ones on? They also scratched up one of my headlights and refuse to fix it. So with all of the headaches it makes the car look worse to me than how others see it.

I went and ran the numbers, they only wanna give me 18,000 for my TL. They said they would have done 22,000 but the new paint job is on the carfax and a big deal to them. Thanks again Acura. Anyways with my trade on the new truck they were at 550 a month for 72 months at 3.9%, which is insanely ludicrous. They didn't run my credit, I wanted to see where they were starting at. Or the option was a 36 month lease with my trade down, 210 a month and a 29k buy out at the end. NO THANKS.

Try a different Ford dealer or try to private sell your TL
Based on your posts, I don't see you being happy with the TL, but obviously it's your choice.

I did a 72 month open load on my Camry... because the interest rate was 0.9%. We've been doing larger payments on it though since my parents house is already paid off but I would agree, 72 months is long. My Acura's on 46 month and I'm already like god damn, I wish I just save up and bought it outright.

As for going to other Ford dealers, this particular dealer is the largest on the east coast and has 5 locations all within an hour from here. The other dealers just don't have the inventory and most have 15-20 on their lots. This dealer had 72 on their lot along with 250 others at the other locations. I searched the smaller dealerships and none of them have what I'm looking for.

another great thread by Brock79.
with the amount of wheel threads, you've become wishy washy.
you say one thing; but totally go against what you were thinking.
what makes this thread and any of your future threads worthwhile?
I'll give you credit on the Exhaust thread because that one does add to the community.

Hey Scotty2Hotty, why don't you read the entire thread before you start commenting. Also do your homework, I'm not answering anymore of your dumb ass questions. Do some research, just because you change your SN doesn't mean I don't know who you are. Where is your TL anyways? That's right you don't have one.

hmm, trade a TL for a truck? I guess if you already have a fun sedan - I have yet to drive a truck that's nearly as refined or comfortable. You gotta have both to really appreciate the differences. Sometimes I drive the TL and think, man, the ride is so much smoother in my MDX...Other times I'm in the MDX, and I wish I had the power and handling of my TL. When you step away from any type of vehicle for a few days you develop the respect for what the designers intended it to do. Then, you drive a base model Camry for 2 hours, and look for the nearest cliff...

The Camry isn't that bad lol. It's nothing to brag about either but does the exact job it was purchased for. Great gas mileage 33mpg on average and I don't care if it gets scratched, dirty or dented. It's a no frills car that I can park just about anywhere and not worry about it.
As for a fun to drive sedan, the TL doesn't compare to the SHO in driving experience. A lot of people bash it on here but I would bet only a handful of them have actually driven one let alone even sat in one. The wife doesn't care for my TL to much either, although she's against getting a new truck also. She would rather drive the SHO over the TL and her Maxima. The biggest rush she gets is the power the SHO has compared to the other two cars. She doesn't touch the Camry because she knows it's dirty and full of tools, she drove the Vette once and she will never drive it again. The SHO might end up as her car when the Maxima gets a few more miles.
