Black emblems?

Does Acura sell black emblems? If not, what would be the best way to black the emblems out.

I have a BWP and would like to do a black and white combo.

Thanks!

No. I was hoping Acura had them so I would just install them. But I guess painting would be the only option.

I think MrHeelToe sells them. He's a vendor here on AZ.

WOW!! $219 for my set. That's pricey however I'm thinking getting a set if they have any promo code or I can spend $65.00 for new emblems and get a body shop paint them. I wonder if black chrome will look good on a black color.

$219 for set? Wow!

I was thinking this would be a cheap mod but I guess not.

Thanks.

My dealership sent out my front grill, back silver piece, and emblems out to be painted locally for $125 for the entire job. $219 is too pricey IMO just for the badges.

Here's the finished product - sorry that the pic isn't better. It's the only one I have... Hope this helps.

It is always important to take into consideration the prior steps taken, so that the finished product not only looks good, but it lasts.

Each chrome finished piece needs to be put into an epoxy prior to even have a chance at lasting on the road.

I took the plastidip way. easiest mod to do and can't complain as it looks really good for just spending $4.

Looks good. Did you take the emblems off first or did you just spray it straight?

No. Just spray it once and you are set. I washed my car numerous times and it haven't been peeling off. You pretty much use your finger nail to actually peel it off if you want it to comes out.

I'm not sure this would look good for Metallic Palladium color like I have... Any mod recommendations would be greatly appreciated though!

I've been trying to plastidip my emblems all day and can't get it quite right.

I'm so freaking embarrassed how I can't do a simple mod.

Don't overspray it. Spray 1 coat and wait for 5 minute and then spray another coat for 5 minute. You will see like bubbles or dots. it's normal. At first I thought I mess up because of bubble and dots but thats ok

have fun!
