Check the link - I think its a clear lens replacement for our projectors?

it depends.. you will need to run a small projector shroud..
you can run like s2k or fx-r projectors.. they are simply just too big..
you will need to run some morimoto fx-r but that still needs modding..

I am currently under the impression that stock low beam are hids. R they?

i dont think you can make them brighter..
from my experience you can swap it out for tsx projectors to make the cut off sharper thus making the focus of the light more sharp and brighter
stock headlights are hid's but the projectors are frosted projector.. they are not clear projector lens. i swapped out mine for tsx-r and it does make a difference.
without opening up the headlight you are pretty much stuck with what you have... you can put hid in your fog lights to get more light output.
oh and correction.. what i meant to say is that "you CANT run like s2k or fx-r projectors.. they are simply just too big.."

The LED headlights are real bright and have a pure white color output. It's a step up from conventional HID headlights.

Yeah, but do you have drivers that are virtually afraid of driving in the rain?

Why not ?
This is from comparing the HID headlights on my 4G TL and the LED headlights on my 3G MDX.

Can you elaborate on your set up and where you got them from? I am interested.

They're the LED jewel eyes, much better imo than HID's. Drove by a 3G mdx in my 2G and his light output was much brighter

He doesnt have them on his TL. The new MDX comes with the Jewel Eye LED headlights. Its not something you can buy or add.

^^ditto.. that is why i did not attempt it..
i have a spare busted headlight with a cracked lens but the internals are ok and i can say with all the pieces that put together the headlight, it gives you very little room to retrofit.. the bracket that holds the fins also is an issue as it pushes against the projector so you would need to make sure your new projectors are the same size as the original.

HMMM I'm wondering if swapping out the stock low beam projector with a bixenon, then run the high beam solenoid to the DRL/Highbeam wires would work. Wish I had a spare broken light like Pot

with lots of modification, it would work... but that will mean you will either have your car go out of commission for a few days or buy a spare set of headlights so you can work on.. either way it is way to expensive to just get the bixenon feature.

But they are not as good as a properly tuned bi-xenon setup.
They do have a very wide hotspot though.

Why do so may people lust for bi-xenon? I just don't get it. I prefer having the low beams stay in their current pattern and then having a second set of lights for the high beam. I compared my buddies Infinity bi-xenon setup to mine, and while his high beam was perfectly color matched, it still had a cut off, and only projected further down a straight road. My halogen high beams are more flood-like and allow me to watch for deer on the side of the road much better than his.
My only complaint is that I can't adjust the high beams and low beams separately on my TL. While my Low beams are aligned, the high beams are cock-eyed. I took it to the dealer and was told they are supposed to be like that, but I disagree.

These aren't to bi-xenon levels yet. It's innovation and progression and I'm sure in time, just like with halogens, they will be amazing. Not to mention the possibilities of having all those "micro projectors" and the self leveling, direction aiming things they can do.
But they are not as good as a properly tuned bi-xenon setup.

You're thinking inside the box. I didn't even know the new models had self-leveling. I'm just saying what I envision them doing in the future.
The possibilities for this type of tech are numerous.

I had bi-xenon on my Jetta 2.0T that I traded in for TL and I do miss it. It was simpler, better, self leveling and as potmilkz said way cooler.
