I just joined the site after finding in today. I just got a '13 TL SH-AWD with the tech package on 6/1. I was reading through this thread and a lot of people were talking about a $1500 rebate on this car during the time I bought mine. I went through Acura Financial and got 0.9% financing for 60 months, which I am very happy about. I did not get a $1500 rebate as well, does anyone know if I should have? It wasn't brought up at all, I didn't see any signage at the dealership etc. I'm not sure if it was one of those either/or things, like I either got the 0.9% or the $1500 cash back.

Honestly, it has been a terrible experience so far with the dealership, so this would be one more thing that would be added to the list.

I do love the car though!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

The $1500 was if you came from another Acura or a competing luxury brand. Also dealers don't usually volunteer the dealer cash of rebate if the customer isok with the deal on the table, they will pocket it as profit.

Thanks for the info. I traded in my '08 Acura TL Type S, so it looks like I did meet the guidelines for the rebate. I am not happy right now, but I guess it's on me for not looking into it before going into the dealership. I'm sure there's no way of contacting them and getting what I should have gotten in the first place.

It's been a mess with this dealership through the whole process, but I did get a much better deal than any other dealership was offering. Lesson learned I guess.

Also, I made an error in my post, the car I bought has the advance package, not the tech package. Just thought I'd clear that up.

You will get a survey, be honest as that impact the dealer. I have gotten to know the owner of the dealer I bought 6 cars from, but still shop around because you always need competition to keep these guys at their best offers. The days of all the rebates being advertised are gone, most makers offer dealer cash and it is up to the dealer to share that with you.

Sorry to have hijacked the thread, I wanted to update my previous posts.

I called the dealership a few days ago and to my surprise was actually able to speak to the owner. I told him about my issue and he said he would look into it. He called me back a couple hours later and apologized for me not getting the rebate. He said he would send me a check for the $1500. I just received it today! I'm so pumped that he took care of it for me.

Trust me, this will never happen again. I'm pretty excited that he took care of it for me.

Holy crap! You need to tell us what dealership did that, I never would have expected that. Very impressive. They deserve a plug.

I agree that they deserve a plug for this. I have to be honest the rest of my experience with them hasn't been great, but this makes up for it. The only reason I bought the car was because I got a great deal, this makes it even better!

The dealership is Acura Columbus, in Columbus, Ohio. The owner is definitely a stand up guy and was very apologetic that I didn't get what I should have. I can't begin to express how happy I am that he took care of me.

I have an '09 PMM TL with tech package and after seeing the mods on AZ I want to start doing some things to my car. I'd really like to upgrade my base 17" wheels to the SH-AWD 19" but just talked to my dealer and realized these run around 3k for parts and labor. Would it be worth it to upgrade to a used SH-AWD tech package? Seems like after my trade in it wouldn't be too much of a difference and I'd have a new warranty with the wheels and AWD. I don't intend to buy a new car for a long time so the upcoming '14 and the TLX aren't an issue. Thanks in advance guys and sorry to the OP, I'm new so I can't start threads.

If you are just interested in buying the wheels alone, check this thread:
https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-2009-2014-123/summer-accessory-sale-sport-package-extra-cheap-779406/

I was quoted $1200 for the 19'' advance wheels shipped. Add the tires of your choice and that should put you around $2000.

What are the current incentives for TL? $2000 dealer cash and $1500 loyalty?
