Auto relock timer after switching off ignition?

Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering if there's a way to have my 2009 acura TL auto lock the doors after switching off the ignition and turning off the engine/car?

From what I read, the relock timer only locks the doors if you press the unlock button on your FOB, but is there a way for it to just automatically lock after you turn off and step out of the car?

Just had my car broken into so wanted to see if there's a way for the doors to lock if you forget to press lock on your vehicle.

Nope. Nothing from the factory that will do that. The only option would be an aftermarket alarm system that does that. I've even been looking at the various timer and relay modules that are for sale on Amazon, Ebay, and from alarm companies like Directed. So far, I have not found anything that would work without a significant amount of rewiring and add on electronics.

I'm usually good about locking the car, but every so often I find that I forget. And with the new epidemic of "car hoppers", I wish there was an easier way to do it.
