Some installers will tell you metallic film won't effect your navi, radio etc blah, blah, I honestly will prefer ceramic tint.

personally, i never had experience with metallic tint as I went with Ceramic.

How is the quality for the Carbon Tint? One of the tint shop in my neighborhood don't carry Ceramic but they have Carbon tint.

FYI: tint of any sort will effect laser/radar detection.

 

I've never install carbon tint so I can't give any feedback.

 

I did SunTech on my STI, loved it, have yet to tint the TL but that's what I'd do again in a heartbeat (cars are almost the same gray too).



FWIW I had no issues with interference .... but that probably had more to do with the antenna being on the roof. No decernible difference with cell coverage inside the car.
