Have you picked up the phone? Call Marcus, I'm sure he would fill you in on the particulars. He runs an honest shop.

That's because "ATLP" is just rebranded Stromung Exhuast. They are building yours now, I'm sure.

Don't listen to this guy it's a great exhaust, besides what the hell do you think is happening when you buy any branded exhaust, that you are buying it at cost?

Why is there a middle man ?

Isn't the OP buying the exhaust system directly from the manufacturer ?

i ordered mine on March 17th, only received it in the second week ofJune - a near 3 month wait. Was very disappointed with the timelines I received from Heeltoe, I kept having to request updates rather than having them sent proactively. I had originally been told a 4-6 week wait since they had just sold their last kit. I was told probably 4 times it would be another few weeks, and then it was shipped to the incorrect address.

the only reason I was ever given was that there was a delay with the manufacturer.

probably won't be bothering with Heeltoe again in the future.

This sucks, cause I plan on ordering a blade key for my 04 Nbp. I hope I won't have any issues at all......I've heard nothing but good things about them, and I mean things do happen... but updates without a request would be a good way to keep a customer happy when there waiting 3 months for something.

Exactly, that and I never had anything in the form of an apology either. I know at the end of the day I got my product and am very happy with it, just a shame that the process of acquiring it was less than enjoyable.

I don't know much about the timeline on building the switchblade keys, not sure if Marcus builds them himself or has to wait on someone else - best of luck!!

No. HeelToe does not make these. They are actually alot cheaper if you can convince S.E. to sell direct.

^hence the reason we need dealers/vendors with a relationship to the manufacturer. Otherwise we would just be a forum full of group buy lists.

^^^^^

Unfortunately, not many 4G TL owners are enthusiastic enough to spend money on buying aftermarket performance upgrades.

Therefore, even fewer aftermarket shops are willing to lose money by producing aftermarket stuffs for the 4G TL's.

This is quite a disappointing thread to have come across.

workTL, we are not the middle men. We are the producers of this kit. Heeltoe acting as ATLP commissioned a manufacturer to produce a prototype, tooling, and parts to produce the kit for us. No, we do not make it internally. But it is our part. We are not the middle men, we own the product. If our manufacturer were to make these and sell them out from under us, they would have a very serious legal problem.

lift3d_, we always regret when parts go on backorder and there is a delay in shipping. We do our best to try and stay in touch with people to make sure they are not in the dark. According to our records which are all pulled directly from your order, the exhaust was ordered 3/17/14. 3/18 we told you there would be a 4-6 week delay on the exhaust. That would have put the shipping date at 4/28. Regrettably, the exhaust left our facility on 5/6. We understand that we missed the mark by 5 business days and we will right here publicly apologize for the late shipment.

Ramneek, please accept our formal apology for missing the shipping date on your order. We also are unhappy for you feeling that multiple update requests before our shipping date needed to be made leading up to that shipment. We do hope that, unlike any other site out there, our order-update request feature made those requests faster and easier than other sites you might have purchased from in the past and that our response time was fast and respectful (even if the responses you got were not ideal). Please accept a gift certificate we have created and emailed to you for the trouble.

Lastly, lift3d_, you indicated getting the exhaust in June, however UPS shows us it was delivered May 14th. If this is incorrect please let us know so we can investigate with UPS.

Americandream, some items, even keys, can go on backorder. (right now, keys are on the shelf) We do our best to keep people informed when that comes about. We are not perfect, but by and large I think you'd find that MANY people on AZ are more than happy with the service we provide. Just read the first few responses to this thread!

Edward'TLS, you make a very excellent point here. The 4G TL exhaust we offer, both AWD and FWD, are pretty slow sellers yet cost a lot of money to produce. We only make about 5-6 at a time, and at that we only sell about 10 a year. It is hard for us to justify continuing to produce them but we do get great feedback on the look and sound of them. From a financial perspective, we should stop making it or raise the price. We'd rather not do that to you guys, though.

Well I guess I'll be the good guy around here. Coming from a previous owner of a 1st Gen TSX I can say that I've had nothing but outstanding customer service with Marcus himself. All my rear sway bar, front strut bar, custom milled TL switch blade key all arrived on time with Marcus updating me with all information.

I remember I ordered the Neuspeed front strut bar in black, within the next day I received an email explaining how black is on backorder and had no ETA but I could wait for get the polished one for the same price (even though it was a bit more expensive) so I'd like to thank him for that.

Honest to good guy, and because I live in Canada. I'm usually hit with extreme duty's and import charges through customs. I did not at all with Marcus as he was somehow able to get it to me without these charges. I will continue to purchase from him always.

I have dealt with Marcus on a couple occasions as well and have nothing but positive reviews. Both times I received my products in a timely fashion and he was quick to return my calls / emails when I had questions.

I for one, hope that Heel Toe continue to produce the exhaust for our cars, as this is DEFINITELY on the list for me.
